Atempo Association (Austria)
Atempo is a non-profit and non-government association that deals with different measures to be used to assist and support people with learning difficulties and disabilities.
One
of the main tasks of the association is to provide accessible
information for people with disabilities. Atempo converts a wide array
of means of information in easy-to-read versions and provides
accessible printed documents and websites. Moreover, atempo offers
Vocational training for people with learning difficulties and
disabilities. atempo is a contractor of a Leonardo Pilot project and a
Leonardo mobility project at the moment.
Atempo will introduce its experience in providing easy-to-read information and counselling, and aims at carrying out the analysis of the request for special needs in Austria. Atempo will also define some services and structures and assess their accessibility in Austria.
Atempo will work on the creation of an accessible tourism network in Austria and later implement promotional activities related to it.
