Lombardy Regional Administration (Italy)
The General Management of Political Public Works for Housing and E.R.P. of Lombardy coordinates the Regional Technical-Scientific Body as regards architectural features that deny access to disabled people.
It carries out counselling activities for the Regional Council about updates, changes and integrations of the technical attachment of the regional law n°6/89 and towards public and private subjects interested in its implementation.
It collaborates with the Institute for innovation and transparency of contracts and for environmental compatibility (I.T.A.C.A.) for the arrangement of legislative, normative and technical documents regarding architectural features that deny access to disabled people; these documents are to be shared by the regions and autonomous provinces.
It also sees to relationships with bodies and associations for sending data related to public buildings, areas and services and to means of transportation.
It acquires data on the current situation and confronts the different methodologies for detection.
It collaborates with AIAS Milan to the pilot project for accessibility of public means of transportation.
