Aim of the course: to inform and train all the operators involved in the tourist service sector about the requirements of the clients with special needs, elderly people, disabled people, in order to provide good quality person-oriented services.
Addressees: tourist operators, receptionists and tourist managers.
Specific module A – Accessible tourism: planning for everybody
Aim of the course: to inform and train technicians and operators of the tourist sector about the special requirements of disabled people for customized planning.
Addressees: technicians of municipal offices, public works and town-planning..
Specific module B – Accessible tourism: good welcome for everybody
Aim of the course:
- to provide the instruments to test new food combinations, and replace food which is not tolerated by allergic and intolerant people with other ingredients and / or dishes;
- to provide the guidelines to create menus accessible to everybody;
- to awaken people to issues such as service accessibility and promotion of measures to make them more accessible (paying special attention to reception services).
